The easiest way to update the image and the bootloader into a Nordic ID mobile computer, is to use the Nordic ID Auto Updater tool. The updater tool can be used for Nordic ID Merlin, Nordic ID Morphic and Nordic ID Medea. It fetches the latest image and bootloader files from the online service and updates them into the mobile computer. The updater tool is installed to a PC which connects to the Nordic ID mobile computer via ActiveSync connection.
