The Board of Directors of Nordic ID has appointed Juuso Lehmuskoski the new CEO starting as of today, April 16th. Former CEO Juha Reima has resigned of personal reasons. Lehmuskoski has been working in the company since March 2018 as Vice President of Services and Solutions and is a member of the Management Team.
Chairman of the Board Jorma Lalla:
“I and the Board of Directors thank Juha for his commitment to transforming the company into a solutions provider and for his achievements in the role as CEO. I’m pleased that we have a suitable in-house candidate for the CEO post.”
Newly appointed CEO Juuso Lehmuskoski comments:
“I’m excited of this opportunity and looking forward leading Nordic ID into the future. I have strong faith in both of our business units and people working in the company. Knowing what we have done already so far and what is coming up, gives me extra motivation to continue taking Nordic ID forwards. I would like to thank Juha for setting the bar high and creating a solid platform for future growth.”
Former CEO Juha Reima will remain in the company to head the ongoing negotiations on external financing. Reima joined the company in August 2016. During his time, the company has rolled out an ambitious new strategy aiming at transforming the company from a hardware provider to a solutions provider of PaaS services.
“I thank all Nordic IDers for their great work on the journey that will continue. However, it is a time for me to take new steps. The step, the change for me now is to resign as CEO of Nordic ID Oyj”, says Reima.
